It took me some time to work up the courage to buy this album, having been somewhat turned off by the creative dry spell represented by 'Gorgeous'. I am glad I finally did!
Don Solaris is a grimy shiny electro excursion into darkness and light. Raw edges of 'Bond', exquisite vocals of 'Azura', lay back Hawaiian geetar of 'Lopez'. This album is new 808, re vitalised 808, smashing 808! Uncompromising quality. Back to the nebulous roots of inspiration and on to the next ten years!
